Job Responsibilities:
1. Develop and optimize short, medium, and long-term mine plans to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations.
2. Conduct pit designs, scheduling, and production planning using mining software (e.g., Spry, Minescape, or similar tools).
3. Collaborate with geology, operations, and other technical teams to support daily production and strategic goals.
4. Provide technical guidance to junior mine planning staff.
5. Ensure mine planning activities comply with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in mine planning, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
3. Proficient in mine planning software such as Minescape, Minex, Spry or similar tools
4. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
5. Experienced in preparing, managing and control mining operational cost aligned with targets.
